The Case for Beautiful Yoga Clothing

A yogi with a very austere mindset might criticize a student for beautiful yoga clothing.  It's true:  yoga can be done in your sweats. One of the many benefits about yoga is you don't need expensive shoes or gear. You don’t need to travel. You don’t need special training. All you need for yoga, is, well, you.

However,  investing in a few things that are beautiful and inspiring, motivate you to pursue your personal fitness goals.  You also get what you pay for: I've purchased "yoga wear" from large chain stores, and it has yet to deliver the fit, support, good engineering and stamina I need it to have.  You end up spending more money by buying more and more replacements, rather than just investing in good quality in the first place.

Some of the things I suggest customers look for in yoga clothing: structural integrity (look at how the seams are reinforced, is there support in a top/shelf bra), material (such as supplex and lycra), cut (do they flatter the wearer?) company integrity (do they use green/renewable practices in their business?), and finally aesthetics.

Many of the brands and products available at Bodywear Boutique.com meet the highest standards for eco-friendly, functional, beautiful yoga and fitness clothing.

We suggest yogis try:
